Held over for just a bit more time!
“Barrku“ a first-ever and exclusive exhibit of art on bark and ceremonial poles from the art center of Yirrkala in Northwest Arnhem Land in Australia. Roby King Gallery in collaboration with Harvey Art Projects, is very proud to be presenting for sale, bark paintings and ceremonial poles, these are the only poles currently in the USA. For centuries the indigenous people of Northwest Arnhem Land have connected with ancestral beings through song, dance and painting. Today making art has become a matter of cultural survival. “These are the oldest continual artistic traditions on earth. An artist inherits rights to a story when they are initiated. “ says Julie Harvey, Harvey Art Projects, Sun Valley, Id.

“Impressionism comes naturally to me, capturing the momentary and transient effects of sunlight.
I lose myself in the myriad of shapes, colors and light. These are the building blocks of my craft. Weaving them together like a tapestry, I try to convey my emotional reaction to my subject.”
Diane Ainsworth, Summer Sunshine, 36×36 Oil

it makes things visible.” – Paul Klee
