HELENE WILDER        HUMAN PSYCHE            FEBRUARY  4-27, 2022

Feminisim in art history includes a wide range of art periods, Egyptian, Medieval, 1960’s…Wilder’s drawings and paintings incorporate a knowledge of art history, fashion history and animal symbolism. Often described as hauntingly beautiful, her figures portray inner strength as well as feminine beauty.   It’s the eyes that engage the viewer initially and invite you to explore the elements and objects Wilder adds to create the narrative.
