"Art is a gift. It is at once timeless and timely, individual and universal, classical and contemporary. Giving the gift of art means the recipients who live with the art are
open to its rewards everyday. …providing a continual sense of beauty, inspiration and a sense of peacefulness.

Small paintings are like gems. Some artists say that it is more difficult to create a smaller painting than a larger one… A small landscape still has to show depth,
a figurative piece needs to maintain all the intricacies of the human form, and a still life needs to give a sense of scale for all the objects in the composition.

Owning a piece of art means that we are merely caretakers for that work before it gets passed on to the next person, the next generation, to enjoy.
Joshua Rose, Editor, American Art Collector, December 2011

For the Locals
We want to thank everyone for their support this year! We have all been annoyed, inconvenienced and at times ticked off because of the street deconstruction and reconstruction!
But we are moments (in geological terms) away from it being completed!! Holiday decorations are going up and tomorrow is Small Business Saturday! We hope you are not too tired from Black Friday and will turn out for some Cider and cookies tomorrow.
Not too late for your framing projects!
Happy Holidays!!
Warmest regards,
Andrea & Wes
