Kathe Fraga/ Solo Exhibition

Love Letters   36×48    Mixed Media on panel
Kathe Fraga’s are bright, colorful contemporary interpretations of
the Chinoiserie decorative period of the 17th-18th centuries in Europe.
Her textured panels are adorned with birds, flowers, leaves, and vines.
The artist layers handpainted designs, sanding rough between the layers
of acrylic paint to create the timeworn appearance of antique wall coverings.
Several coats of clear lacquer seal the imagery.

Fraga’s artwork was recently featured at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art Spring Exhibition, “Revering Nature”,  including 11 paintings.
Fraga introduces her silk and linen Accent Pillow Collection, based on her Chinoiserie inspired paintings.  They are available on Island at
Dana’s Showhouse or at www.kathefraga.com

Coming soon Kathe’s work will be seen on Holiday 2017 cosmetic gift sets
for a global cosmetic company–details to come!

We are ending the framing portion of our business and selling it to Jeffrey Moose, Jeffrey Moose Gallery, formally in Seattle. His new location in Winslow is conveniently located across the street, past Heart and Esther’s, where the Kayak shop was
(for the locals). With available parking below!

In these 27 years, meeting all of you has been a delight!
Our gratitude for your support over the years is immense. Seeing your unique projects and figuring out how to conserve and display them has been challenging and fun!  Sharing your traveling experiences from the artwork you brought into frame has been enlightening.  Watching your families grow from framing family photos, diplomas and awards is a privilege.  Having second generations frame with us is astounding!
Know that the computer files with your framing history will be transferred to Jeffrey. We will be available for complimentary consultation to all of you as long as you want/need us.  We can pop right across the street!

With this new evolution, we will continue the art gallery business we love. Roby King Gallery will exhibit talented artists from the Island, the Northwest and possibly some more international exhibits will be in our future!   All our thanks,  Andrea & Wes
